The Hive did not arrive in the Nythara Expanse. It survived there. Beneath frozen moons, dead colonies, and shattered worlds, dormant broods endured for centuries in near-starvation as the region slowly fell silent around them.

Isolated and buried deep below the surface, the Hive waited in darkness while the stars above grew cold and empty.

Now the Expanse awakens once more. Ancient systems pulse with life, forgotten pathways reopen, and prey returns to the long-abandoned worlds. Every battle feeds the swarm, every fallen enemy strengthens it, and something vast buried at the heart of the Expanse is beginning to wake alongside them.
