Dwarf Guilds vs High Elf Fleets
In the aftermath of the Korvath excavations, fragments of recovered precursor data lead the Dwarf Guilds toward a heavily fortified installation hidden deep within the ash deserts of Nythara Secundus.
Surrounded by immense defensive walls and partially buried beneath centuries of dust and volcanic debris, the complex predates any known colony records within the Expanse. Though abandoned long ago, its reactors still burn beneath the surface and encrypted signals continue broadcasting from somewhere deep within the structure.
The Guilds move quickly to secure the installation, believing its archives may contain navigational data, dormant claim vaults, and the locations of further precursor structures hidden deeper within the Expanse.
But they do not arrive unopposed.
The High Elf Fleets have already intercepted the transmissions. Within the station’s awakening systems, their seers recognise fragments of ancient containment protocols and warnings buried long ago within forbidden archives.
To the Elves, the station is not a treasure vault, but part of a larger network designed to keep something contained. As Guild excavation teams begin forcing entry through the outer defences, High Elf strike forces descend upon the installation, determined to seize or destroy its archives before the Dwarves can awaken whatever has remained sealed beneath the walls for centuries.
Randomly determine one of the three additional buildings. That building has been deemed to hold information of specific value to one of the Guild leaders.
A Dwarf unit must end its turn in that building, uncontested, and succeed on a Quality check.
Randomly determine one enemy unit at the beginning of the game. It has been foreseen that this unit could achieve great things in the war ahead.
Destroying that unit completes this objective.
