Dwarf Guilds vs Alien Hives
The first confirmed Guild expedition into the Nythara Expanse makes planetfall upon Korvath, a volcanic mining moon abandoned centuries ago after the disappearance of several Dwarf extraction clans.
Beneath layers of ash and collapsed industrial ruins, Guild surveyors uncover intact precursor machinery and signs that vast mineral reserves may still remain untouched below the surface.
Initial excavation efforts proceed rapidly. Ancient reactors flicker back to life, automated drilling systems begin responding to Guild command codes, and deep seismic scans reveal enormous hollow structures buried beneath the crust. Then the miners begin to vanish.
Without warning, tunnelling teams lose contact deep below the excavation zones. Emergency bulkheads are breached from beneath. Strange biological growths spread through abandoned shafts and refinery tunnels.
As the Guild forces attempt to secure the mines, the first dormant Hive organisms erupt from the darkness below, drawn toward the noise, heat, and fresh biomass flooding into the dead world.
The reclamation of Korvath has become a fight for survival.
