Beyond the outer trade routes, past the last stable warp beacons and forgotten patrol lanes, lies a region of space known only in fragments of ancient records as The Nythara Expanse.

For centuries the Expanse has remained silent.

Ships entering its borders vanished without explanation. Colonial expeditions failed to return. Entire systems disappeared from navigational archives as if erased deliberately from history itself. In time, the great powers of the galaxy abandoned the region to myth, superstition, and drifting ruin.

But now, the silence has ended.

Across distant sectors, long-dead transmitters have begun broadcasting once more. Ancient stations flicker back to life in the darkness. Warp routes thought impossible now appear briefly stable. Fragmented distress calls, Guild encryption codes, and impossible stellar coordinates echo through the void.

Something in the Expanse is awakening.

Already, rival powers race toward the forgotten frontier. The Dwarf Guilds seek to reclaim lost holdings and uncover the vast wealth hidden within the abandoned systems. The High Elf Fleets move in secret, driven by ancient warnings and prophecies buried deep within their oldest archives. And in the cold darkness beneath dead worlds and shattered moons, the Alien Hives begin to stir once more.

None yet understand the true nature of the Expanse.

Only that something was buried there long ago.

And perhaps should have remained so forever...
